Senior support and downsizing

Moving from a house to a smaller flat, or preparing to move into a care home, means sorting a whole life. We support the older person and their family with patience: they decide, we organise everything else — in English, French or Italian.

How we work

  1. Start from the new homeWe first place favourite furniture and objects on the floor plan. Whatever fits comes along; the rest is decided afterwards, with no pressure.
  2. Short, regular sessionsTwo hours at most, preferably in the morning: tiredness makes every decision harder.
  3. Pass things on rather than throw awayWe help offer belongings to relatives first, then to local charities.
  4. Recreate familiar landmarksIn the new home, familiar objects go in similar places, so it feels like home from the first evening.

For families too

Relatives often live far away or are short of time. An outside person brings calm, handles the logistics and lets everyone keep the best role: being there for support.

Prices

  • CHF 95 / hour, with sessions paced for each person.
  • Prepaid hour bundles from CHF 80 / hour, shareable between family members.
  • Free 20-minute consultation, which a relative can join by video.

Frequently asked questions

What if the older person is reluctant to part with their things?+

That's normal. We go at their pace, starting with the spaces that carry the least emotion. Nothing leaves without their agreement.

Can you work with family members remotely?+

Yes: the consultation and progress check-ins can be done by video with relatives, even if they live abroad.

Do you also help with a move into a care home?+

Yes: choosing the belongings that go along, organising the room and finding a solution for the rest of the home.
